French in Cannes

Cannes is an outstanding city with renowned festivals, culture and cuisine. While Cannes is synonymous with glamour, it's a small town with local charm which shows itself best when there is not a festival.

Equipped with bright spacious classrooms in a modern building, the school is located only a few steps from the beach and is easily accessible to the city center. All classrooms are equipped with the lastest equipment. There is an internet area as well as a student lounge/patio.

Teaching Methodology

  • All materials are included
  • Small groups with a maximum of eight people. This is the best situation to provide individual help and to follow up each student's progress.
  • Classes are run by qualified teachers with specialized university degrees.
  • Each class is run by two different teachers to insure a varied and dynamic teaching experience.
  • Teachers focus on practical communication: students will improve during the lesson thru oral training, practical situations, role plays, listening activities and pronounciation.
  • Lively and effective teaching methods: Teachers use a wide variety of regulary updated documents( audio and video tapes, newspapers, magazines, internet and TV)

Activities

In the afternoons and/or evenings there are always possiblities for outings in the region. Excursions include optional city tours to Cannes, Nice, St Paul de Vence and Grasse- the perfume factories. There is also the opportunity for local social life and culture such as cooking lessons, wine tasting, fesitivals, theatre plays, language exchanges etc.
